Rejuvenating experience
Close to the wilder Grand Macabou beach, Anse Petit Macabou is a beautiful cove of very white sand, bordered by vegetation. Swimmers should not be put off by the seaweed that often covers a large part of the shoreline, as the beauty of the water and the site are well worth the diversions. This site is the starting point for the "la trace des caps" hike, which will take you as far as Anse Caritan in Sainte-Anne, via the beaches of Cap Macré, Anse Michel, Trabaud, Salines, Moustique... a total of around 27 km.
