Inspiring experience
The Bureaux du Génie et des ponts et chaussées site occupies the buildings of a beautiful 18th-century private house, itself built on the grounds of one of Martinique's oldest dwellings: the Levassor dwelling. With an extraordinary view, the site is spread over three terraces on the cliffside. An ingenious hydraulic system brings water from the fort's canal to various pools on the property. The two-storey main house is complemented by numerous outbuildings, including a very well-preserved kitchen with oven, vegetable garden and ponds.
