Activities for kids in Martinique

Martinique has many family-friendly beaches:

• Les Trois-Îlets: Anse Dufour is an ideal beach for children, with its shallow turquoise water. Also consider Anse Mitan, crystal-clear, shallow water with lots of little fish.
• Sainte-Anne: Grande Anse des Salines is perfect for building sandcastles. You'll find a few tables for eating and trees for shelter from the sun. Bring mosquito repellent for late afternoons, as as soon as the sun goes down, they make their appearance.
• L'Anses d'Arlet: Anse Noire is renowned for its seabed rich in marine life, perfect for snorkeling. There's also a pontoon at Anse Noire where older children can dive or jump into the water for a thrill!

• Aquabulle: this underwater boat excursion lets you observe marine wildlife without getting wet. A fun and educational activity
• Boat trip: many excursions are offered to observe dolphins, sea turtles or the Diamond Rock

• La Savane des Esclaves: a living museum that traces the history of slavery in Martinique.

• Clip'n Climb Martinique: an indoor climbing park with courses suitable for all ages, located in the commune of Schoelcher. 
• Parkadonf: an outdoor adventure park with zip lines, monkey bridges and acrobatic courses in Anses d'Arlet.
• Musée de la Banane: a fun tour to discover the history of banana growing in Martinique in the commune of Sainte-Marie! 

• Please bring light clothing and sunscreen. Most activities can be done in flip-flops or bare feet, but if you have sneakers for added safety, that's ideal!
