Organized yearly by OSATOUR, the Sainte-Marie Tourist Office, this renowned, tasty and festive celebration combines chefs’ competitions with awards ceremonies, conferences in historic settings, entertainments in public schools, and a not to be missed parade, as well as special menus in a selection of eight restaurants in town, and the Gastronomic Fair with local exhibitors.

Every day except Wednesday and Sunday, Mr. Franck Muhel, specialist of traditional dances from Martinique, is pleased to share his knowledge with classes at the prestigious Djoniba Dance & Drum Centre located in lower Manhattan at:

Monday & Thursday -- 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm
Tuesday -- 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm
Friday -- 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm

Each class lasts 90 minutes
Rate: $15 per class

GETTING TO MARTINIQUE WITH AMERICAN AIRLINES/AMERICAN EAGLE

American Eagle has daily service between San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Fort-de-France, Martinique, using the ATR72 turbo-prop aircraft with capacity for 64 passengers. (Four flights weekly in September and October due to low season.)
